Kay Talbot

Kay Talbot RN BAppSc, Dip Mgt. has been involved in Urological nursing for many years and in that time has developed particular interests in the areas of continence management, erectile dysfunction, nursing education, and the nursing management of patients having urological reconstructive and prosthetic surgery. She has extensive experience in each of these areas, and enjoys guiding the patient through their urological experience.

Kay also has significant experience with urodynamics in the assessment of patients with urological disorders.  

 Kay was a founding member of the Victorian Urological Nurses Society, and the inaugural president and meeting convenor of the Australia and New Zealand Urological Nurses Society. Kay has been an invited speaker at numerous state and national education meetings, has several publications, and has received a number of awards associated with her interests in urological nursing care.

 

 

Lynda Hardy

After training at Royal Melbourne Hospital 1982, Lynda completed her Bachelor of Nursing (post-graduate) in 1991. Her interest in urology nursing led her to complete the Prostate Care Nurse course and the Continence Course through Healthlinks.  Lynda has a vast clinical experience in urology nursing.

Complementing her role as practice nurse at AUA Urology, she holds the position of Urology Clinical Nurse Consultant in the public health system at Box Hill Hospital. Lynda is dedicated to patient-centred care through provision of expert urology nursing and current educational resources. Her passion for excellence guides her practice and has led her to be involved in the urology nursing professional body, the Australia and New Zealand Urological Nurses Society, where she was elected as President from 2008 to 2010.
